Shipping
Q: What are your shipping rates?
A: Shipping rates can be calculated in real-time from your shopping cart. Click on "View Cart", then look in the lower left hand corner for a box to enter your state, city and postal code information, then click "Calculate Shipping" to see the rates and carriers available for your address.

Q: When will my items ship?
A: The majority of orders ship same day if the order is placed by 1 PM Pacific Time. Orders placed after 1 PM Pacific Time on Friday typically ship out on Monday. Some high demand items may require an additional 2-3 business days to ship. Any orders requiring custom stringing might require an additional day of lead time. Please check the item details as items with an extended lead time will be noted in the description. If your item is temporarily on backorder but due to arrive, we will contact you within 1 business day to inform you. Unlike other badminton shops, we aim to give our customers as much transparency as possible, instead of booking a sale for products that are unavailable from the supplier or unknown as to when they will be available in the market.
Q: I made a mistake entering my address, can you guys change it?
A: If your order has not been shipped yet, we should be able to modify your address information. Please email support@badmintondirect.com immediately with your request. If your order has already been shipped, it cannot be changed. Please note that failed delivery due to wrong/invalid address may be subject to penalty fees assessed by the carrier, which the purchaser will be responsible for.
Q: Can you ship to my work address or to another person?
A: Typically, yes. But if the shipping & billing address do not match, your order might require additional processing time to verify. Please include a phone number so that we can call you. Any orders that cannot be verified and/or are flagged as fraudulent by our fraud-detection system will be canceled without notice.

Ordering
Q: How do I place an order?
A: Ordering is easy! Browse our site and add any items that you want to your shopping cart by clicking "Add to Cart" and then checking out by clicking on the shopping cart icon in the upper right corner, or alternatively you can place an order via live chat (click on the icon in the lower right corner) or by phone.
Sales Tax
Q: Do you charge sales tax?
A: We only collect sales tax on sales in California. For all other states, sales tax is not collected.
Payment
Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
A: We accept all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, JCB, Diners Club), and Paypal.
Exchanges
Currently we only offer exchanges on shoes and clothing. This might be expanded to include more items in the future, which we will update here. Please email support@badmintondirect.com if you have an exchange request for shoes or clothing.
Returns
Q: Do you accept returns?
A: Yes, BadmintonDirect.com has a conditional return policy. Please check our returns page for detailed information.
Stringing
Q: Are your stringers experienced?
A: Yes, all of our stringers are badminton players and have years of stringing experience.
Q: Do you offer a restringing service?
A: Yes, add this item to your cart and follow the instructions to have your rackets restrung and shipped back to you by BadmintonDirect.com.
Clothing & Sizes
Q: Is there a size chart for clothing and shoes?
A: Yes, click here to see the shoe size chart. Adidas shoes use standard sizing, please order the size you normally wear for sneakers. For Yonex badminton shoes, we suggest ordering a half size larger than your regular sneaker size.
Free Gift with Racket Purchase
Premium rackets might include a free gift option, rackets that include a gift will have a menu on the right side of the page where you can select one item from a list of possible choices. We try our best to provide a great selection, and cannot accept any requests for gift colors/varieties, and we do not accept requests to substitute the free gift with a different item not included on the list. Only one free gift choice per premium racket purchased. BadmintonDirect.com reserves the right to change the free gift list or substitute if the selected item is not available. Free gift included with premium racket purchase must be shipped together with the racket, no rain checks. No returns/exchanges accepted on free gifts. In the event that the racket is returned, the free gifts must also be returned in unused condition.
Clearance & Sale Items
Q: Do you have sales or clearances?
A: From time to time, items will be marked down as "Sale" or "Clearance" items either through a visual tab or contained in the product description text. All sales are final on sale or clearance items and cannot be returned or exchanged.
Volume & School Discounts
Q: Do you offer discounts for schools or for large quantity orders?
A: We do, depending on the items. Products that are already marked down for sale or clearance will not be eligible for volume discounts. Please email sales@badmintondirect.com with your required items and quantities for an exact quote.
